SEATTLE MAN AIMS TO BREAK 30-YEAR-OLD RECORD FOR FASTEST
CROSSING OF USA ON FOOT WITH LA TO NYC RUN

Seattle, Wash., Mar. 29, 2010 - His first run across the
United States was strictly for personal adventure. This
October, John Wallace III, 34, hopes to inspire folks to
chase their dreams, benefit two meaningful charities, and
if all goes right break the Guinness World Records(TM)
record for 'fastest crossing of America on foot'.

According to Guinness World Records(TM) "the current record
is: 46 days 8 hr 36 min by Frank Giannino Jr (USA) (b. 1952)
for the 4,989 km (3,100 miles) from San Francisco to New York
from 1 September to 17 October 1980." Wallace has filed
Claim ID 284345 and plans to complete his run from Los
Angeles to New York City in less than 45 days.

Running from city hall to city hall starting on 10-10-10,
the nearly 2,850-mile journey will take Wallace through 13
states. This run is about 1,000 miles less than his first
transcontinental crossing five years ago and will feature
new parts of the country to explore. "There will be a
strict focus on just running, sleeping, and eating," Wallace
emphasizes, "there won't be time for any sightseeing this
time around." Wallace's father will be driving a support
vehicle and the latest technologies will be utilized for
real-time GPS mapping, online communicating, and documenting
the record attempt.

Wallace has chosen the National Law Enforcement Officers
Memorial Fund to honor his father and father-in-law's many
years of service as Michigan police officers and to thank
the scores of law enforcement personnel that make the streets
of America that Wallace will run on safe. Because of the
amazing adventures that have become a reality in his life
and the endless opportunities his healthy two-year-old son
has, Wallace selected the Make-A-Wish Foundation¬ which
gives hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening
medical conditions that have simple yet much more significant
dreams.
